Makeup Review – Maybelline Colossal Mascara Review

Makeup Review – Maybelline colossal Mascara review.

I have tried the new Colossal Mascara by Maybelline, and so far I have been very satisfied. I, being a person who is not exactly blessed with the most luscious and long of lashes, was a bit skeptical at first, seeing as nearly all mascara’s claim to have the same ‘magical lash-lengthening ‘ abilities. From the first time I used it; I will never use another mascara again. In fact, I would not step out of the house without my Maybelline Colossal Mascara. It’s like putting on fake eye-lashes without having to mess with tedious placement and messy glue.

I have tried many other brands when it comes to mascara, and none of them come anywhere near to results Maybelline has giving me. From the appearance (besides maybe the vibrant yellow tube) it looks like the traditional mascara we have grown comfortable with. There are no strange looking wands that take a degree in cosmetology and a minor in rocket science to figure out, and there aren’t any two sided application combinations to figure out. And the greatest thing about it is the zero clump formula makes the application clean, so you don’t walk out the door with your eyelashes stuck together in a gross mess. Also, it doesn’t flake when it dries like some mascara I have used in the past has. It’s nice to just walk away from the mirror knowing your mascara looks great without having to re-apply or check it every five minutes.

After using this mascara, I will never use anything else. In fact, all the others I had in my drawer have already found a new home for themselves in the trash can. Don’t settle for mediocrity, use the Colossal Mascara.

Avon Mineral Makeup Foundation Review

I have been very hesitant to go all out and try a lot of mineral makeup brands foundations, but my Avon lady said why not and offered me a few samples from her full size mineral makeup jars.

First I’d like to say the my Avon mineral makeup review is here to just let others know about what I found and how my skin reacted.

I have worn mineral makeup before and like the creamy texture and coverage that the mineral makeup foundation I am currently using offers me which is Colour ID Minerals found at www.mineral-make-up.net

My skin is medium/combination and I did have to mix 2 Avon foundation mineral products together to get a close similarity to the color my skin requires.  This was ok since I did receive free mineral makeup samples in the foundations.

The coverage was ok, the glow was not, so right away I looked shiny and that is not an attractive look on me.

I wore the foundation to work, shine and all and around lunch time most had become too shiny and I used my Resurface X-treme from RAESIN IMAGES  I.E. Colour ID Minerals to counteract it and their product did stop the shine right away and it lasted me for the rest of the day.  Praise be to the Resurface X-treme Primer powder!!

The ingredients had some things in them also that I would rather not apply to my skin, several chemicals etc, but for anyone trying mineral makeup that doesn’t mind the chemicals or other ingredients that cause the shine then it might be a great product and I do love a lot of Avon’s products.

I’ll get a list of the mineral makeup ingredients in the foundations from the Avon website or my Avon lady as soon as possible and post them.

If some of you aren’t familiar, Webmd.com has some very generous factually articles regarding mineral makeup ingredients and what you should avoid.
