Makeup Review- Deals on Avon

One of the greatest thing about the passing of the recent holidays is all the great offers that go up in the makeup and cosmetic industry. Right now at Avon, there is a special offer in makeup, buy on get one for $1.99.

The 8-in-1 Eye Palette is a small palette containing eight shades ranging from matte and shimmers, and satins. Its versatile shades come in three different varieties; Neutral Tones, Paradise Greens, and Water Colors. The colors go on smoothly and last long, without looking cakey. The compact has a built in mirror which makes these great if you are on the go.

The Daring Definition Mousse Mascara in Black is one of the greatest product Avon offers. Its light weight formula coats each individual lash (without clumping), fanning them out so create beautiful, full lashes. The formula doesn’t flake of smudge, so application is only required on for radiant lashes all day.

For on-the-go lip color, I personally always go to Avon’s Glazewear Liquid Lip Color. It’s a full coverage lip gloss that can either be worn alone or over another lip stain. I love it because it always looks great, and it makes my lips soft and moisturized, without going on sticky or wearing out too soon. My choice colors are Darling Pink and Iced Pink. Makeup Review- Lip Crayon You Will Love

Makeup Review- NARS Lip Crayon

I don’t know about you, but lips are probably on of my favorite features to play up. I love trying new colors and products on them, so it was hard not to jump on the lip crayon bandwagon. I immediately purchased a few of NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencils in three different shades: Dolce Vita, Walkyrie, and Bahama.

I was immediately satisfied with the smooth application and the overall longevity of the lip crayons. They act like a stain on your lips, though they are ten times easier to apply, and the finish is like a lip balm. It took less time to apply then using a lipstick because you don’t have to worry about lining your lips, and unlike some lips crayons, it doesn’t flake or look clumpy on your lips. It has a naturally beautiful application every time.

NARS formulated the lip pencils with high pigments, along with vitamin E, and silicones, so it doesn’t dry out your lips or fade. The only disadvantage was I had to wear a balm over it after a little while to keep my lips soft. Click picture to view & purchase.

Makeup Review- Benefit Cosmetics Powderflage Set

Makeup Revew of Benefit Cosmetics Powderflage.

It’s hard not to roll your eyes at all the companies claiming to have found the perfect formula for eliminating dark circles, but I think Benefit Cosmetics might have really found it. This set sticks a sucker punch to circles, fine lines, and discoloration spots, making you look well rested and younger. The lightweight powder can be worn either alone as a concealer, or for extra coverage, over a cream concealer.

As soon as I put it on, my eyes immediately looked brighter, as if I had just woken up from a well night’s sleep. And because of the small sizes of the compact and brush, you can carry them around in your purse for touchups.

Makeup Review – Laura Mercier Eyeliner Review

Today I am going to tell you about one of my all time favorite products. This past summer, a friend and I were talking about makeup, and she introduced me to Laura Mercier eyeliner. I had always stuck to liquid liner or traditional stick liners, but never before had I tried pressed liners. She very generously let me have an extra compact of Black Ebony, and I immediately rushed home to try it.

It does take a little more time to mix the liner with the water, but the results are obvious. As soon as I lined between my upper lashes, my lash line looked fuller and my eyes looked bigger. And because of the formula, it in place all day long. Some days I can altogether skip lining my upper lashes because the liner sticks so well.

Though I usually stick with Black Ebony for everyday use, when I am feeling spontaneous I usually go for Laura Mercier eyeliner in Eggplant. Its a rich purple color that makes by brown eyes pop. I suggest that shade for anyone with brown eyes, but not for anyone with a lighter eyes color because it could give you the appearance of having a black eye. Click Picture to View & Purchase.

Makeup Review- NARS Blush in Deep Throat

I am sure everyone is familiar with the highly appraised NARS blush ‘Super Orgasm’, which I myself have used with satisfying results. Recently, I ordered their blush shade ‘Deep Throat’, which I also adore. Its shimmery peachy shade gives my skin a naturally healthy glow that is great for all occasions and any time of the year.

The application is light and doesn’t look heavy or unnatural, as soon as I put it on it instantly lights up my face. I have always been satisfied with anything from the NARS Cosmetic Company, and this time I was especially content. As far as makeup goes, ‘Deep Throat’ is worth its price.
