Smashbox, the latest cosmetic makeup brand to sell out.

Smashbox Cosmetics is being purchased by the Makeup Cosmetics Guru Estee Lauder. 

It’s about time that someone bought Smashbox, they products have been really poor in the last few years, no thanks to being on QVC and the Factor grandsons wanting more money thus using poor ingredients that fell apart.  Estee Lauder as well a Loreal are two of the top Global cosmetics corporations owning more cosmetics, makeup, and skin care brands than other global makeup brands.

MAC Cosmetics is also owned by Estee Lauder.

Makeup Review- Sephora Favorites Lashstash Mascara Deluxe Sampler

I absolutely love trying out new mascaras, just because I am always curious to see how different companies’ formulations work and how each product transforms the appearance of my lashes. The only problem is how expensive it is to buy full size products, and I am always wary buying mascaras because I never know if they will really work with me, finding the right mascara is like trying to find the perfect pair of jeans, you always have to try them out. And when trying any eye products, anything that doesn’t work have to be thrown out since sharing products used around the eyes can spread eye infections.

That is why I was so thrilled when I spotted the Sephora Favorited Lashstash Mascara Deluxe Sampler, I immediately ordered it and anticipated its arrival. This kit (being sold at $39, though it has a $96 value) contains eleven of Sephora’s best sellers, including brands like Anastasia and Smashbox. And even when a mascara didn’t work for me, I didn’t feel so bad about filing them away.

Makeup Review- Smashbox Blush in Smashing Beachwood

In my opinion, the best way to brighten your face is blush. In fact, when you find the perfect blush, you don’t even need foundation (which is nice during summer heat when foundation can clog pores and make the face feel greasy). Well, after spending days looking for my perfect summer blush, I was thrilled when I applied Smashbox’s Blush in Smashing Beachwood. It glided on easily, and was streak-free. The color lasted throughout the day and instantly brightened my face. I admit I was a little intimidated by its bright pink color, but on the skin it blended and just gave a natural glow, instead of looking too pink. Click picture to view and purchase product.
